Team’s Favorite 2022 Lunar New Year Capsule Collections

We wanted to share with you the boldest brand capsule collections that will start this New Lunar Year with the strength and courage of a tiger!

1️⃣ Gucci launched their Tiger Collection featuring more than 100 pieces representing various interpretations of the animal by the creative director Alessandro Michele. The brand activated 4 celebrity ambassadors to promote the collection, including famous singers Luhan and Xiao Zhan.

2️⃣ In addition to their capsule collection, Bottega Veneta meaningfully took over the Great Wall with a colourful installation in tangerine and their signature green. The brand has also pledged to support the renovation and maintenance of Shanhai Pass, a key pass on the Great Wall. 

3️⃣ Salvatore Ferragamo collaborated with Chinese artists Sun Yuan and Peng Yu to create a celebratory print that adorns the brand’s bestsellers like the Studio Box Bag and their signature scarf. The beautiful print features a tiger and other zodiac animals in a Chinese garden.

4️⃣ Prada Group celebrated the Lunar New Year with their “Action in the Year of the Tiger” initiative, a charitable campaign to protect tigers. In the campaign, actor and singer Li Yifeng and actress Chun Xia star decked out in Prada’s red-accented collection.

It is very exciting to see these colorful collections launching the Lunar New Year. We cannot wait to see what brands will come up with this year to surprise Chinese consumers!
